took my car in with transmission problems, they diagnosed and fixed the issue proficiently. turned out it was just the solenoids and not something internal, like i was repeatedly told by other shops, who were telling me i needed a complete rebuild.

I had them install a brand new factory clutch in my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and gave me a good price ($1600) then during the installation they told me the price went up $775 due to a new part they had to buy. Then they told me my car had to stay 2 weeks later then the original date stated in the beginning. They only gave it a 3 month 30,000 mile warranty. I started having issues with my car 5 months later, then took it to Mitsubishi dealer ship for a recall on my air bags. The lead tech called me and told my that my clutch was completely shot. I told them that it was only installed 5 months back. The tech further told me there was no way it could have been my fault even if I took it to the race track everyday. I called Bob at Mr. Milex, told him everything the dealership told me. He told me to take the car to them the next morning and they will look at it. I took my car in and he told me it was going to cost me $700 to just look at the clutch. None of that was talked about on the phone. Then told me that it was my fault for not driving right and there was nothing he could do for me and sent me on my way. They wasted my money and my time.

Wanted to respond to this review: A few important facts Chance’s vehicle is a very, high horse power car; roughly 400 Hp. In fact in California before you can purchase a car like this you are required to take a driving class. We did replace all critical clutch performance parts with brand new OE components, e.g. clutch, flywheel, hydraulics, etc. We returned the vehicle in perfect working condition. Seven months later the customer indicated they were having clutch problems. We diagnosed it and based on performance issues we suggested he had burnt his clutch out. Notably, this is a very easy thing to do with such a high horse power vehicle. You don’t need to be racing it to have this happen. We offered to take the transmission out to confirm the condition of the clutch, and expressed if the clutch was burned beyond repair he would be liable for the repair. Bottom line we performed an excellent repair, and were willing to work with Chance. Thank you...Bob Bauer, owner

I have always had a great experience with Mr. Transmission. The staff is very nice and informative, and they really want to help, both with my car and wallet. They never tried to "up-sell" me anything and focused only on what needed to be fixed. I will never take my car anywhere else!

After returning from a three-week out of town trip, my MINI Cooper's vent system fan made a horrible rattling sound and pushed out air that smelled like dog food. Huh? I took it to Wilsonville MileX and Steve went to work on it. As it turned out, a mouse family had built an impressive nest inside the fan assembly and ducting. They packed wall insulation into the fan system, and also collected about 5 cups of dog food from a nearby bag they had broken into. What a mess! The clean-out job took longer than expected, so Steve stayed late on Friday and also came in Saturday morning to finish up. After clearing out all the nesting material and food stores, Steve used alcohol and disinfectant to remove any residual evidence of the rodent's residence. As a final touch, Steve installed an activated charcoal filter for the passenger compartment air, to catch any remaining particles that might have escaped the clean-up. Bottom line: Steve did a *great* job rescuing my MINI's vent system! Thanks to MileX for making the MINI drive-able again.

I came to see Bob for a check engine light, which ended up being a certain part needing replaced. Bob told me he could provide the service for me, but he recommended me to another business not far away because they would be able to provide me great service at a more reasonable price than he, as he would need to contract somebody to do this for him. This really meant a lot to me as it would have been very easy for Bob to take advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding auto service and charge me more than another business. My time spent with Bob was enjoyable as well, as he really seemed to care about me as an individual and not just a customer handing over money for a service. I felt valued at Milex Mr. Transmission and because of his honesty and just being an overall nice human being, I'll come back for his service in the future. Not to mention his recommendation was wonderful and they treated me just as wonderful as Bob did.

We have used Milex numerous times now & have been very impressed. They always go above & beyond in every way. In addition, I've referred them to others & the feedback I've received has all been excellent as well. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

The 1996 Chev Pick-up my 16 yr old son was driving wouldn’t move in reverse. I knew something was wrong..!…? Given that this was my late husband’s pickup, I knew there was sentimental value to my family, but couldn’t ignore the fact that it had over 186,000 miles and had sat for over 6 years… Kyle Bunch recommended Milex Mr. Transmission Wilsonville. Bob and his team went the extra mile. They not only diagnosed the “transmission failure”, they gave me the facts to make an informed financial decision. (They could have simply given me the estimate for replacing the transmission and made a profit) Armed with the facts, my children and I decided repairing it was just not a wise financial decision. Thank you Bob and your team for your Honesty, Integrity and Investment in Lifelong customers!
